General Information
If you are a parent or carer of someone who you
think may benefit from any of our services you can
make an appointment for an informal chat and a tour
of the facilities. We are preferred providers for
Social Services and ‘Direct Payments’ via Social
Services can fund places for a variety of activities
at Lords House Farm to eligible individuals. Riding
and Animal Therapy sessions for adults and children
are also eligible to be funded this way. Riding and
Animal Therapy sessions are available two evenings a
week for children.
If you are not already funded by Social Services you
can contact your social worker or local SS office
direct for further information on Direct Payments,
or obtain a leaflet from our reception.
Alternatively longer-term day services can be funded
as part of a contract with Social Services direct to
Lords House Farm. We offer full day placements from
10am to 3pm on as many days of the week as is
appropriate or desired by the service user. Daytime
riding sessions are available on a weekly basis for
children and adults.
Healthy lifestyle activities, arts and crafts and
basic computer skills are just a sample of
activities available on a weekly basis.
